Where everything's bigger.
We woke up on Monday morning feeling the love.
It's amazing how much communicating effectively can shape a relationship, especially if you're traveling together. It takes a level of self understanding to be able to operate in close quarters with someone you love for that long.
We were growing closer.
We cleaned up, checked out, and found a place to quickly do our check in video before heading to Jack's home state of TX.
First stop, Prada Marfa
We had been waiting to shoot this location for days and had been planning either to be there at sunrise or sunset. We did neither and shot mid afternoon.
Like the fools we are, we thought we would last until sunset.
After the first hour Jack had heat stroke symptoms and had to call it quits after shooting for Kaveh and Dirt Cobain

We traveled into town and found a cute bar to get food, then checked into the air bnb we got for the evening (hosted by Brian). It was actually really cute and tastefully decorated 👏
We were tired and had a verry long day of traveling ahead of us, so we passed out quickly thereafter, too overheated and too overworked for a couple unemployed folks.
The next morning we explored Marfa. The town seemed to be comprised of both highly aesthetic and abandoned looking a rt exhibits and structures as well as the occasional mobile home park.
The place simultaneously felt highly cared for and abandoned at the same time.

We found the absolute most aesthetic cafe to get breakfast called the Sentinel Marfa , then we hit the road.
