Beyond the Horizon
So currently this is being written in a notes app as we lay inside our abode for the evening.
You know when you have those come to Jesus moments while camping when you realize you’re incredibly isolated from the rest of humanity?
Yeap that’s what’s happening currently.
HOW IT STARTED
We woke up at 5am this morning in our castle-themed loft (ideally named the Castle House Estate) in Joshua Tree, completely ready to shoot a sunrise video.

..we got up around 8AM.
Nevertheless, we did what we had to do:
-Shot a drone video
-Did a photoshoot (maybe two)
-Checked in on social media
-Hit the road to Arizona (unsure of exactly where we would stay next).
HOW ITS GOING
Once we were driving, there was about 20 minutes of normalcy until we were in the middle of effing nowhere and #distraught
Danny didn't know where to go, I didn't know where to go, and tensions were high.

The further we went, the more majestic the views became.
After 60 miles, we decided it was time to stop and capture the beauty via drone.
It seemed like the desert stretched forever.
The ground was all the same hue of yellow, the mountains were many colors of dark red and warm orange.
At sunset, the deset sky was too perfect not to capture.

I posed in the beyond perfect lighting wearing lace bellbottoms created by
Temple Ro a female owned brand from San Francisco.
I felt like there was no insecurity left in me in that beautiful of lighting.
When finished, we took some landscape photos then headed to our cabin (which did not have running water to our surprise).
Jack took a shower in extremely hot or extremely cold water in a centrally located facility (there was no middle ground). Danny decided to rough it rather than torture himself (smart).

Once we were unpacked, we noticed the extreme silence of the desert. We sat outside and saw the galaxy of stars stretch before us.
