In a sea of stars

We woke up Sunday morning with an urge to get up and get caffeine injected straight into our nervous system.

Danny had fallen asleep with his pants on from exhaustion while I stayed up and wrote.

We had been sitting on a lot of content and were very excited to edit but we just physically could not.

AGAIN?

That morning, after days and days of traveling, Danny and began to argue about nothing...again

You know when you begin a relationship and three months in, you decide to spend every waking second together and film everything you do?

Yeah, most of you don't. Because most of you are sane.

We had gotten to our limits.

What really sucks about filming a travel blog with your significant other is that you see that your arguments are literally about absolutely nothing important.

What's really great about filming everything though is that you can quickly recognize how you're both wrong and should focus your energy elsewhere.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN

We hit the road (again) from Tucson to El Paso.

Halfway through the trip we decided to stay in Las Cruces, New Mexico to make sure we hit as many states as possible on this trip.

We stopped to shoot a few looks and I may or may not have lifted a tumbleweed over my head....

COMMUNICATE

Once we were settled in for the night, Danny and I talked about the next leg of the trip.

We were able to open up to each other about topics that we hadn't been addressing forwardly and it was very healing. I felt like we were more in agreement than usual. We were able to interpret each of our own shortcomings in realistic ways.

It's nice being with someone who can easily see their own shit when talked to about it just as you can see yours. And to not be ashamed of it and pursue being right to the bitter end.

We fell asleep that night much more bonded than before.
